TEST, TEST, TEST

Been more than four years since my last sporadic post.  Working on a new project for 2025, to better understand the American body politic, where a nation who professes to be one of laws could vote for Donald Trump for a second time.  Mostly reflections on readings, mostly for myself, but feel free to jump in.

Here's my initial thoughts, most of it is around domestic politics and specific to populism, specifically white populism, most of my reading will be from popular or more "centrist" academics, it is not intended to be a Marxist reinterpretation of history, it for me to have more understanding about America moving forward. Several major pieces here critical to American history I've studied in great detail; civil war, WWII, etc so I am not revisting them.  Going to try to timeline this to be done by late spring, as we start to see the direction of the Republic clearer.
